▶ this video If you seek to 6 min 5 seconds, the narrator describes an Evangelical pastor by the name of Urban Baxter whose End Time ministry leads a tour to Israel twice a year. The pastor then explains to his tour group / congregation the significance of Armageddon in relation to the current location of the tour group, Megiddo.
It's not outdated at all, Trump's presidency was a direct throw-back to Dubya times [0] that whole thing with Muslim bans and getting treated like some kind of Messiah by evangelicals [1]. These very same US evangelical currents are also super tight with Israel, because they think Armageddon is gonna happen there and that needs to happen for Christ's return and heaven on earth [2]. These people are a end-world cult, one that has by now had direct influence on at least two US presidents in recent history. One of which they pushed into declaring a literal "crusade" [3] complete with "holy warriors" [4]. In the early 2000s there were a bunch of "scandals" about them infiltrating the US military to further Christianize it [5], even in the 2010s there's been incidents with US government acquired rifle sights featuring secret bibles codes [6]. Not geopolitically worthless. All three abrahamist cults want it and historically have killed 10s of millions of people fighting over it. There is political value in having something you can use to control the sheep. Most of Israel’s modern power comes from the “evangelical” sub cult of christianity. They’re utterly terrifying in their fanatacism. Think ISIS but mostly white christians and they murder with politicians instead of suicide bombers. ▶ this video
There's no reason to be baffled. Pick any of these five reasons. 1. Because they are Israeli and beyond reproach. There is nothing more politically correct than criticizing Israel. Even radicalized incel white power Proud Boys hate Jews while loving Israel. 2. America's strongest power base are ultra-conservative christians called Evangelicals, who believe Israel will bring forth the rapture[1] 3. Because America gives Israel billions of dollars to buy arms from them (wtf?) 4. Because AIPAC spends billions of dollars buying Us politicians 5. Because the USA is the only nation which can really create sanctions or embargoes, and all American politicians' swearing in ceremony seems to have included, "Thou shall not criticize Israel, ever, for any reason, really bro" [1] ▶ this video
