IGN's 2010 trailer for Infinity Blade, an Unreal Engine fighting game for iPhone, iPad and iPod. It shows off gameplay and the visuals of the mobile game.

Cited as a benchmark of what mobile graphics could do in 2010, against which later WebGL games are compared.

Fast forward to 2026 and after 15 years, the browser vendors have not yet provided anything remotely similar to RenderDoc, only SpectorJS survives, barely usable. Also this game remains the exception, Infinity Blade was released in 2010 to show what iPhone could do with OpenGL ES 3.0, the base for WebGL 2.0, and yet most Web games are basically Flash like remakes. link "Infinity Blade: iPhone Trailer", 15 years ago ▶ this video

If they only care about 2011 (WebGL) or 2015 (WebGPU) hardware, sure. Still waiting to see a WebGL game that matches Infinity Blade, released in 2011 alongside iPhone 3G and iPhone 4. Re: 1. iOS runs the Unreal Engine 3 as well as iD's RAGE engine. Look at games like Infinity Blade [1] and Rage HD [2], then try telling me that's not serious gaming. Re: 2. Yes, iMovie for iOS has been out for 18 months [3]. It's pretty darn good. [1] ▶ this video [2] link [3] link
