A time-lapse from ESO's Very Large Telescope showing stars orbiting the supermassive black hole at the Milky Way's center over nearly 20 years.
HN links it as direct observational evidence for a massive invisible object at the galactic center.

"static" is "Shwarzchild without rotation"? Do black holes have hair? Where is the Hawking radiation in these models? Does it diffuse through the boundary and the outer system? What about black hole jets? What about vortices? No actual photos yet exist of the environment immediately surrounding a black hole. But here is a time lapse video of stars orbiting Sag A: ▶ this video . The Event Horizon Telescope project is trying to image some black hole surroundings link
Then there's this video ESO's Very Large Telescope shot[0], of stars orbiting something that's a) very massive, and b) invisible. Does that constitute a direct observation of a black hole? -- [0] - ▶ this video
