100% agreed, the Donut tutorial is great. Make sure to use the 3.0 version instead of the 2.8 version, he released an updated tutorial with the improved Blender UI: ▶ this video PS, definitely use an external mouse! You cannot really only use the trackpad/keyboard for Blender effectively.
Make the donut: ▶ this video It's kind of a right of passage for Blender newbies. I learned (well.. I'm learning) Blender this year and I'm glad I did. It's very intimidating at first, but you get the hang of it, and then you can't imagine a world without it. I now even prefer it to stuff like Photoshop for doing simple graphics work.
Youtube is your friend: it is a bottomless pit of Blender tutorials from the very basic step-by-step "learn how to use the UI" to super-advanced topics. This guy has an extensive collections on both basic and advanced stuff: ▶ this video
I've followed Janine Pauke's work for many years ( link she has produced a very cool introductory course for Blender: link And, of course, there's the famous donut tutorial series: ▶ this video
