Stuff Made Here builds a handwriting robot and sends its output to a handwriting expert to see whether it can pass as forgery. It walks through the engineering trials and errors along the way.

HN commenters recommend it as the physical-machine take on replicating handwriting, with plenty of explained iteration.

Not a 3D printer but really cool video by Stuff Made Here explaining how he tried to make 'realistic' handwritten forgeries with a pen plotter: ▶ this video

For those who were hoping for the physical version of this, I recommend the Stuff Made Here Video on the topic: ▶ this video

There is a very cool youtube video with something similar from Stuff Made Here: ▶ this video Was very fun to watch and he also explains the trials and errors, he did. There is also a link to a very interesting repository of handwriting synthesis: link

This unironically may be what needs to be done. A video by Stuff Made Here covered what is essentially one such machine [0]. That specific machine is meant for generating handwritten notes, but I imagine it could likely work for general purpose documents too with some tweaks. [0] ▶ this video
