A short project video in which Greg Raiz turns a 32-inch eInk display into a wireless digital newspaper showing daily front pages. It runs for months on battery, and the code is published on GitHub.

My inspiration is this: ▶ this video But I actually only watched the first 30 seconds and then got hooked on the idea. The impl is mine :-)
I really want an 8.5x11 or bigger, very low power e-ink device that I can use as essentially a photo display. I was inspired by this[0], but as I'm not a hardware guy at all, trying to make one is out of my reach. Hopefully this PineNote will become that device sometime. [0] ▶ this video
Joan’s parent company, Visionect[1], also produces the Place & Play, a 13” or 36” eInk display[2]. Some guy created a rotating newspaper frame from it[3]. Looks quite amazing, and it has a 1 year battery life. [1] link [2] link [3] blog: link and video: ▶ this video and code: link
