I don't know about that. Assange alludes it was Seth Rich (calls him out by name) and says: "Whistle blowers go through significant efforts to get us materials and often significant risks. There's a 27 year old who works for the DNC that was shot in the back, murdered, just two weeks ago for unknown reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington..." ▶ this video Right from his mouth, not Russian propaganda - unless you're suggesting Assange himself is a Russian propagandist. It's a very interesting interview regardless.
Which part? Dotcom claimed personal knowledge that Seth Rich gave the hacked emails to Wikileaks? Here he’s saying it [1]. That Assange did the same? Here he is alluding to it[2]. Mueller and the recent Senate Intelligence Committee Report said Seth Rich has nothing to do with it[3]. Or do you think the Seth Rich conspiracy didn’t come from the Russian state? Here’s a story pointing out that it came from the Russian SVR[4]. So now we are left with the question, why would Dotcom claim personal knowledge of a Russian State created conspiracy theory that provided cover for the Assange and the GRU? He sounds like a person of interest to me. [1] link [2] ▶ this video [3] link [4] link
>Assange is not responsible for the conspiracy theories that other people generate from his information. There's a full video somewhere of this. link Edit: The video, I think ▶ this video He also announced a 20 or 25K dollar reward for information leading to Seth Rich's murder being solved, in order to further imply he was the leaker. >I also fully intend on "election meddling" by sharing my opinions on the internet. As should you. It's on you to prove why this is bad for the american people. The DNC and Podesta email leaks were probably worth a billion or so dollars in campaign money influence. That's not even counting the IRA trolls. You and me and probably all of HN readers combined couldn't come up to such a level of influence. I believe it was done in bad faith by Russia and Assange in order to divide and destabilize the US, regardless of the outcome of the elections. The IRA tried to amplify both the extremes, and heavily pushed actual fake news including Pizzagate.
Nixon (most likely) wasn't complicit in the break-in, he covered it up after he learned of it. In any case, the alleged collusion isn't Watergate. The coziness of the investigators with President Trump's political enemies and the amount of false information that the media has reported should be cause to question the purpose of the investigation. As far as the DNC "hack", the evidence the Russia did it was a hasty, blatant forgery [0]. Julian Assange and Wikileaks have done literally everything short of outright claiming that Seth Rich was their source [1][2]. EDIT: The comment chain has gotten too long for replies, so I'll have to reply here. @dragonwriter: The Robert Mueller, the special investigator, has ties to James Comey [3]. James Comey has been part of three investigations on the Clintons (the Whitewater scandal, the Marc Rich pardon, and the email server); in two of those, he personally was responsible for dropping the charges, both times with little explanation. I'd consider that to be suspicious at best. The fact that Mueller hasn't recused himself, as a friend of one of the witnesses (Comey) in the investigation, is good reason to question the validity of the investigation. I'll concede that the point about the media wasn't a good one. A better one would have been that the Russia investigation is based on the Guccifer 2.0 forgery and a fabricated dossier by Fusion GPS. The Fusion GPS dossier was paid for first by Paul Singer, an anti-Trump conservative, and later b
There is no hard evidence where the DNC/Podesta leaks came from. However, Julian Assange has repeatedly said that the source is not the russian goverment or a affiliated state party [1] and in a other interview has hinted that the source may be Seth Rich [2], a former DNC staff member that was murdered in Washington DC. Assange has clearly suggested in a interview recently that DNC staffer Seth Rich was indeed the person responsible for the DNC leak. (and not the Russians as the DNC would like us to believe) ▶ this video He was shot dead in a "robbery" where nothing was stolen from him.
